I had already been to the site you mentioned for the software etc. I then went on to working on my Windows 7 laptop which accepted the software that came with the computer. I was surprised when I found in one of the 'reports' that it said I was 'wired' in. I am assuming this is likely as a result of being asked somewhere along the line - did I want the same as my computer was already on thinking this was referring to my wireless laptop etc.
I am assuming it is due to the printer being 'wired' in via ethernet cable. I guess my only question at this point is - does it make a difference if it is connected via ethernet the printer or wireless - is there a benefit or disadvantage either way.
